The Hairy Barista’s main roastery is Mission Coffee Works, based in East London. Roee, the founder of The HB,  has worked closely with Mission ever since 2013. Their high standards, transparency, sustainability & ethical practices are next to none. 

Speciality coffee is always of a much higher quality & farmers that Mission work with are paid far above the commodity price. Mission Coffee Works have long been forming relationships with farms, washing stations & cooperatives they work closely with. Their head roaster spent months picking coffee, experimenting & tasting whilst living with the farmers. For every bag of coffee Mission donate 1% of their revenue to ‘Eden Reforestation Projects’, who then go on to pay local people to plant trees. The roastery has planted thousands of trees.

At the HB , you will always find the flavour profile you seek, whether it's a chocolatey coffee or fruity, nutty or floral we will always endeavour to find just the right coffee to suit your taste buds. 

In our coffee menu we offer a variety of coffees using different brewing methods, such as espresso, pour over, cafetiere & turkish coffee. Alongside our House Blend , The Hairy Barista also sell a variety of beans from different countries that can be ground specifically for your individual coffee brewing technique. We also have weekly changing guest espressos such as; Crankhouse, Collona & Small, Square Mile, Hasbean, Ozone, Dark Arts & many more..
